The company has been producing authentic sugar cane distillates in Ceará in the north-east of the country since 1846. This variant is made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice and then matured in barrels made from Castanheira-do-Pará wood (Brazilian chestnut tree) - a special choice of barrel that gives this cachaça its unique aromatic depth.
