Amatiteña, inspired by the long tradition of agave cultivation in Amatitán since the 18th century, is produced by engineer Alberto Partida Hermosillo, a third generation master tequilero of the Partida family. The brand honours the ancestral customs of Jalisco and the agave fields by maintaining traditional production methods.

For example, after being carefully harvested, the agave hearts are crushed using a tahona, a large stone wheel, and then slowly cooked over an open fire and wood. This elaborate process not only preserves the flavours, but also intensifies them. In addition, fermentation takes place with wild yeasts, which contributes to a unique flavour profile that reflects the essence of the region.

Finally, distillation is carried out in traditional copper stills to preserve the characteristic flavours of the agave and create a distinctive, authentic tequila experience. Through these methods, Amatiteña remains true to the heritage and craftsmanship that has been passed down through the Partida family for generations.
