Belizean Blue Rare Blend is a product of the Travellers Distillery, located in Belize, Central America. The distillery’s origins can be traced back to a bar in Belize City known as Travellers. The bar’s founder, Don Omario, began producing his own rum blends, which he sold in his bar.

Owing to the great success of these blends, Don Omario eventually founded Travellers Liquors Ltd. The distillery places great emphasis on using locally grown, fairly produced sugar cane. The molasses extracted from this sugarcane is crucial to the authentic flavour of the rum, which is characteristic of this region. The rums in the Signature Blend are aged for up to seven years and are bottled without the addition of sugar or colourings.

The Belizean Blue Rare Blend is a blend of various rum varieties that are aged for an average of nine years in Belize. The blend also includes components that have been stored for up to 17 years in tropical conditions.
