Douglas Laing has updated the name of its well-known Island Blended Malt bottling from ‘Rock Oyster’ to ‘Rock Island’, without altering the award-winning contents. Rock Island combines selected single malts from the Scottish islands of Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney, giving it distinctive smoky notes, sweetness and maritime aromas. As part of the Remarkable Regional Malts series, Rock Island symbolises the diversity and quality of Scotland’s malt whisky regions.
What sets the Douglas Laing Rock Island Tequila Cask Finish Edition apart is its unique finish in tequila casks, which gives this bottling its distinctive name. To preserve its authenticity and purity, this whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of colouring agents.
