Cardhu, known for its smooth and mellow whiskies, is steeped in history and tradition. The distillery originates from the heart of Speyside, Scotland's most important whisky region, and has been producing high-quality spirits since 1811. Founded by Helen Cumming and later by Elizabeth Cumming, Cardhu is recognised as one of the first women-run businesses in the whisky industry. The distillery prides itself on its time-honoured production methods, which have been refined over generations.

The water used for Cardhu whiskies is sourced from the Mannoch Hill springs to ensure purity and quality. The barley is carefully malted and gently smoked using traditional techniques to preserve the natural flavours. Maturation for 12 years in hand-selected oak casks allows Cardhu's distinctive smoothness and rich character to develop.
