Ron Izalco represents a journey through the impressive volcanic landscape of Central America, known as the "Lighthouse of the Pacific". The Izalco volcano, which gives the rum its name, is 1,950 metres high and was last active in 1966. The volcanic activity combined with the region's tropical climate has resulted in a mineral-rich, black soil that provides ideal conditions for growing sugar cane.

These natural conditions, together with historical and cultural influences, form the basis for the production of Ron Izalco. The unique composition of the soil and the climatic environment contribute significantly to the quality of the sugar cane, which in turn forms the basis for the production of this rum.

The Ron Izalco 10 year old is a high-quality premium rum that achieves a remarkable quality thanks to its Langs ageing in American white oak bourbon barrels. It is the result of a multinational blend of rums from various Central American countries, including rare rum from El Salvador. The careful production and the sugar cane growing environment contribute to the fact that this rum received numerous awards at international spirits competitions shortly after its launch.
