The Vecchia Romagna Riserva Tre Botti 1820 Brandy 40.8% is a premium Italian brandy characterised by a particularly elaborate ageing process in three different types of cask. It is based on a careful blend of selected spirits, the oldest and most valuable of which have been aged for up to 15 years. The name ‘Tre Botti’ refers to the three-stage cask concept, which lends the brandy structure, roundness and additional aromatic depth. Small French oak barriques are used to impart spice and structure; large Slavonian oak casks promote softness and harmony; and tonneaux, previously used to age Italian red wine, add velvety and elegant notes.

With an alcohol content of 40.8 per cent, the Vecchia Romagna Riserva Tre Botti is powerful yet remarkably well-balanced. The long ageing process and careful blending combine nutty, fruity, sweet and spicy notes to create a complex overall profile. Particularly distinctive are notes of hazelnut, vanilla, raisins, brittle and tropical fruits, complemented by oak and spices such as cinnamon and cloves.
