Produced at the Shinobu Distillery in Niigata Prefecture, this bottling combines both locally distilled whisky and imported, matured malt and grain whiskies, which are carefully blended together.

What makes this blended edition so special is that it is matured in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, an extremely rare and expensive type of oak that gives the whisky its characteristic spiciness and fine woody flavour. "Shinobu" means patience in Japanese - a quality that is reflected in the balanced and complex character of the whisky.
