Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Grappa, one of the oldest and most traditional drinks in Italy, is a pomace spirit obtained from the residue of previously pressed grapes. Maestri Grappa, dedicated to the masters of art and culture, is produced using a technique that combines tradition and innovation. Glera grapes form the basis of this grappa, whose fresh, vinous pomace is carefully stored to achieve the perfect quality.

After the pomace has been distilled three times in traditional copper stills, the grappa matures for 12 months in wooden barrels, developing its fine structure and harmonious flavour.
