Inspired by his family's heritage, Jelínek decided to continue the legacy and founded his own distillery in the town of Vizovice in 1967. Today, the distillery is famous for its excellent products and innovative approach to the traditional art of distillation.

R. Jelínek Apricot Brandy is a clear spirit with a sweet apricot aroma, a delicate fruity flavour and a slight undertone of apricot kernels. Apricots have always thrived particularly well in South Moravia, which is why their use in the production of brandy was an obvious choice. The brandy is produced by triple distilling the ripe apricot mash, which is the secret of its exceptional clarity and delicacy. The kernels remain in the mash throughout the process and give the drink its characteristic almond flavour.
