The Luigi Francoli Grappa Chardonnay with 41.5% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle stands for classic Italian grappa tradition from Piedmont and combines the precise art of distillation with the strength of character of the Chardonnay grape variety. This Grappa di Chardonnay is produced by the traditional Distillerie Francoli distillery, which has been known for generations for its quality craftsmanship and clear style. It is based on freshly pressed Chardonnay marc, which is delivered to the distillery directly from the region's winegrowers, thus preserving its aromatic freshness.


In the distillery, the pomace is first fermented, producing alcohol from the natural fruit sugars. This is followed by continuous distillation, during which the alcohol and flavours are carefully separated from the pomace. The resulting middle spirit is characterised by its particular purity and softness. The grappa is matured in stainless steel tanks for around six months to harmonise it, thereby preserving its clarity, structure and varietal character. This white grappa is bottled crystal clear at 41.5%, which gives it a robust body and noticeable strength. The distinctive Chardonnay aromas remain clearly recognisable thanks to the gentle processing and give the grappa depth and individuality.
