The slow maturation in the refill hogshead allowed the Jura distillate to develop its maritime, slightly spicy notes without being dominated by the wood. The bottling is limited to just 297 bottles worldwide, making this whisky an exclusive collector's item for lovers of honest, unblended single malts.
