The history of the Beniamino Maschio family business begins in the mid-19th century in San Pietro di Feletto, Italy, when Antonio Maschio founded a small distillery, laying the foundations for the family's adventure in the world of grappa. In 2002, Beniamino Maschio took over the Distilleria dell'Alpe and expanded the range to include typical Venetian liqueurs and gins.

Beniamino Maschio, known as a "lover of monovarietal grappa", remains true to his passion for grappa and creates Brentè grappa using traditional production methods. A blend of the best grappas, distilled from Prosecco marc and then aged for 3 to 5 years in small oak barrels, is created with the utmost care. This slow maturation is perfected by a final refinement in barrique barrels.

The result is a first-class grappa that is characterised by its straw-yellow colour and intense, harmonious bouquet.
