The English Harbour Sherry Cask Finish Antigua Rum Small Batch 003 is a limited-edition special release from the renowned Antigua Distillery, which is famous for its elegant, finely balanced rums. This Small Batch Edition is the result of artisanal perfection and exceptional cask maturation, which lends the rum a distinctive depth and complexity.
The rum is first distilled using traditional methods and matures for several years in ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to sherry casks for the final stage of maturation. This final maturation process imparts a distinctive fruitiness and velvety texture to the rum, with subtle wine-like notes. The combination of tropical ageing and sherry cask finishing ensures a harmonious balance between sweetness, spice and oak character.
With an alcohol content of 46% vol., this small-batch rum remains full-bodied, yet smooth and aromatic.
