The ageing process of Plantation Rum Guatemala begins with three years of ageing in bourbon barrels, which gives it an ester content of 49 g/hL. It is then further refined for four months in FERRAND barrels before receiving its distinctive finish through eight months of ageing in red Madeira casks. Bottled in 2023 with a dosage of 15 g/L, this rum is characterised by a particularly rich and expressive variety of flavours.
