Scapegrace is a premium brand that originated in New Zealand. It was founded by two friends, Mark Neal and Daniel McLaughlin, who shared a passion for gin, whisky and vodka and wanted to create unique and exceptional spirits. The word 'Scapegrace' refers to a mischievous or reckless person and reflects the adventurous and rebellious nature of the brand.

Scapegrace releases a small number of rare, limited edition single malts, which are released in chronological order, creating a collection of individually numbered bottles that will never be repeated.

And so it begins, although in truth the beginning was years before - RISE.

"Nothing ever truly starts." There is no fixed beginning for anything, just a continuous development with different actors and events occurring at different times.

This is also the case with the limited release RISE I, whose contents reach far back into the past and bear the signature of Master Distillers, Doug Lawry and his son Anthony.

This legacy matures for at least five years in new French oak barrels and captivates with notes of cinnamon, cloves and creamy vanilla.
