This product was originally intended for the American market. The actual, taxed volume is therefore 750ml.

The Ararat Yerevan 10 Years Old Exclusive Collection, with an alcohol content of 57% vol. in the 0.7-litre bottle, is an outstanding Armenian brandy that reflects Armenia’s deep cultural and historical connection to the art of distillation. It forms part of Ararat’s Exclusive Collection and pays homage to the rich heritage of the Yerevan Brandy Company, as well as to the birthplace of the famous creator of this fine spirit.

The name Ararat is inextricably linked to Armenian identity. The mountain of the same name, which also adorns the label of this brandy, is regarded as one of the most important symbols of Armenian culture. Its slopes are home to some of the world’s oldest vineyards, which have been yielding the finest grapes for brandy production for centuries.

The history of this brandy stretches far back: as early as the 10th century, during the reign of King Gagik I of the Bagratuni dynasty, a magnificent residence was built on Akhtamar Island. The island’s name derives from the tragic legend of Princess Tamar, whose lover drowned in Lake Van whilst desperately hearing her final words: ‘Ah, Tamar’. This moving story is deeply rooted in Armenian culture and is reflected in the elegance and depth of this fine brandy.

Ararat Yerevan 10 Years Old is aged for 10 years in oak casks, giving it its complex structure, powerful aromas and impressive depth. The cask strength of 57% vol. emphasises its intense character and makes it an exceptional treat for brandy connoisseurs.
