Cristóbal Niña is a first-class spiced rum that was created in honour of Christopher Columbus and his ship Niña. The name Niña is reminiscent of one of the three ships with which Columbus sailed on his first expedition to America in 1492. The rum is distilled in the Dominican Republic by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, the country's largest alcohol producer. The use of its own sugar cane and the tropical maturing conditions result in a rum that reflects the authentic character and tradition of the Dominican Republic.

This spiced rum is matured for between 8 and 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels, developing a complex depth and complexity. Maturation under tropical conditions gives the rum its rich flavour, which harmonises with spices and the typical sweetness of a mature rum.

Cristóbal Niña honours the historic adventure of Columbus and his ship, which symbolises the discovery of new worlds. Although the fate of the Niña after Columbus' expedition is unknown, its legacy lives on in this exceptional rum.
