Tanduay Double Filipino Rum, at 40% ABV and presented in a 0.7-litre bottle within an elegant tin box, is an exceptional rum that reflects the art of Filipino rum production. This Double Rum is created by blending two rums – a 16-year-old Premium Oak Aged Rum and a 5-year-old Traditional Oak Aged Rum. This special blend results in a complex and multi-layered flavour that perfectly combines the effects of the rums’ maturation in oak casks.
The 16-year-old Premium Oak-Aged Rum brings deeper, richer notes of wood and vanilla to the blend, whilst the 5-year-old Traditional Oak-Aged Rum adds lightness with its fresh and fruity aromas. The result is a harmonious rum with a perfect balance between wood and fruit, reflecting both the strength of the longer ageing and the freshness of the younger rum.
