The Caffo family business has its headquarters in Limbadi, Calabria, and operates several distilleries where high-quality spirits are produced. The company's roots go back to the late 19th century, when Guiseppe Caffo began distilling marc. In 1915, he acquired an old distillery in Sicily and initially specialised in the production of grape brandies.

To produce the Vecchio Amaro del Capo Red Hot Edition, the distillers use a unique process in which selected herbs and Werder are macerated in pure alcohol for several weeks. After this extended maceration period, the mixture is distilled in copper stills. The resulting distillate is then mixed with water and sugar to achieve the desired flavour and alcohol content.

Thanks to the commitment and support of the family, the range has been continuously expanded and now includes an impressive variety of spirits.
