According to legend, the thermal springs of Trencianske Teplice, a town in Slovakia, were once discovered by a Hirter who was looking for his lost sheep. This story is reflected in the name of the gin and is symbolised by the sheepskin visible in the bottle design. The shape of the bottle is also reminiscent of a bell, which further emphasises the link to Slovakian tradition.

The gin is matured in earthenware vessels, which gives it a special depth. It is then macerated without the addition of colourings or flavourings, which preserves its natural flavour. Only carefully selected berries are used in the production process, which give the gin its unmistakable flavour.
