The Macallan M 2022 is one of The Macallan's darkest bottlings. The bottle, designed in collaboration with Fabien Baron and Lalique, presents itself as an expressive decanter in the shape of a black crystal. Lalique, one of the leading companies in the crystal glass industry in France, and Fabien Baron, Creative Director of the Baron & Baron brand, contributed their expertise to the design.

As Macallan is constantly developing its whiskies, this whisky became more profound than most of the smoky Macallans produced previously. The distillates used for the Macallan are carefully selected by hand and the maturation takes place in ex-sherry casks selected by the Macallan Master of Wood. This special ageing process gives the Macallan M Black its pleasant and natural flavours.
