The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist who laid the foundations for Ron Malecon with his passion for high-quality rum. Ron Malecon is distilled using the traditional Cuban method from molasses in Panama, using copper column stills.

Rum Malecon Añejo 3 Carta Oro is a first-class matured rum that impresses with its balanced maturation. This rum is aged for at least three years using the Solera method, in which various blends are made in oak barrels, which helps the aromas to develop in a special way and gives the rum its fine flavour structure.
