La Maison du Rhum Paraguay 2007/2020 Batch No. 3 is a limited-edition release from the renowned La Maison du Rhum series, which showcases selected rums from various countries of origin and distilleries. This rum from Paraguay comes from Fortín and was distilled in 2007 using molasses. Distillation took place in a column still before the rum began its long maturation period. The distillate was initially aged in bourbon casks, before an additional finish in fino sherry casks imparted further depth and a distinctive cask character. In 2020, the rum was finally bottled at 45% ABV.


As Batch No. 3, this Paraguay bottling is limited to just 3,657 bottles, making it particularly appealing to connoisseurs of exceptional rum origins and limited-edition vintage bottlings. Also noteworthy is the absence of colouring agents, which preserves the natural colour resulting from cask maturation. The stated sugar content of 0.00 g/l underlines the unadulterated, dry character of this edition. The combination of the 2007 vintage, bourbon cask maturation and a Fino sherry cask finish makes this La Maison du Rhum an exciting interpretation of the Paraguayan rum tradition. The 0.7-litre bottle is presented in a decorative tin box.
