This unique spirit is based on molasses, rum and a variety of spices and is enriched with kumquat, jambu and natural extracts of kumquat bark, lemongrass and coriander. Naga Malacca is produced using a particularly slow fermentation process on yeast strains, which results in an exceptionally complex variety of flavours. The spirit is made from rice mash, with the blend being distilled partly in traditional Indonesian pot stills and partly in modern column stills. The double maturation, first in local teak barrels and then in American ex-bourbon barrels made from white oak, ensures a remarkable depth and complexity.
