A. de Fussigny SÉLECTION Fine Cognac is a classic French cognac with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle. For this cuvée, various eaux-de-vie from several growing areas within the Cognac region are blended together. Following distillation, the cognac undergoes traditional barrel ageing in selected Limousin and Tronçais oak casks, whose distinct wood characteristics contribute to the development and rounding out of the cognac. The blending of different eaux-de-vie enables the house to create a balanced and approachable style, with a focus on elegance and harmony. A distinctive feature of A. de Fussigny is its historic cellars on the banks of the Charente. The immediate proximity to the river ensures a naturally humid cellar climate, which creates favourable conditions for the slow maturation of the eaux-de-vie. During ageing in French oak, the cognac develops its characteristic colour and gradually gains in complexity and balance.
