The Perfect Circle whiskies are produced by Shiki Shuzo Co. Ltd. in Japan. This distillery co-operates with many Japanese domestic distilleries. Shiki Shuzo is an independent company that has a business relationship with Matsui Shuzo, the producer of Kurayoshi whisky.

"Enso" is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism and means "circle". This calligraphy is traditionally drawn with just one brushstroke and is not changed afterwards. This whisky has the sacred Japanese symbol printed on the bottle as a label.

Juju Kurihara is the Japanese calligrapher responsible for the design. She runs the "Sosekido" school in Japan.

The Maen Perfect Circle whisky is a blend of malt and grain whiskies that are distilled two to three times in copper pots and aged between three and five years. Maturation takes place in American white oak bourbon barrels.
