Exclusive delicando bottling: Clément Rhum PRIVATE CASK Series – Pedro Ximénez Finish

Since its foundation in 1887 by Homére Clément on the picturesque island of Martinique, Clément Rhum has stood for innovation and excellence in the world of rum. Clément Rhum has revolutionised the art of rum-making, particularly with the introduction of Rhum Agricole, a type of rum distilled from freshly pressed sugarcane juice which enjoyed unprecedented success during the Caribbean sugar crisis.

Clément Rhum’s PRIVATE CASK range embodies the exceptional craftsmanship and long-standing tradition of this renowned distillery. The range is characterised by meticulous ageing in six cellars, where nearly 11,600 casks are overseen by Julien Thimon, the cellar master since 2021. His expertise and dedication are the result of 18 years’ experience working alongside his predecessor, Robert Peronet.

This special release from the PRIVATE CASK range is first matured for four years in American oak casks and then undergoes an additional 10 months’ maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks. This process lends the rum a rich complexity and deep, aromatic nuances, ranging from sweet and fruity notes to subtle, woody undertones.

As a limited-edition exclusive bottling for delicando, with just 293 bottles, this rum offers a rare opportunity to savour a true piece of craftsmanship. Every bottle in this series is a testament to the passion and dedication with which Clément Rhum has pushed the boundaries of rum production.

Enjoy the unique blend of tradition and innovative cask maturation with the PRIVATE CASK series from Clément Rhum – a true gem for connoisseurs and collectors alike.
