The Appleton Estate Black River Casks 15 Years Old is made from molasses and matures for 15 years in oak barrels in the tropical climate of Jamaica. The high temperatures of the Caribbean ensure that the rum from Jamaica interacts more intensively with the wood and can therefore develop particularly complex flavours. During this long ageing process, a harmonious combination of tropical fruit flavours, spicy notes, fine caramel and roasted aromas and a depth of character is created. At 43% vol., this matured Jamaica rum is full-bodied and balanced. The bottling contains colouring, which further emphasises the warm, dark colour of this 15-year-old premium rum.
