It is made from molasses and distilled using the column still method, before being aged for 13 years in fine Limousin oak casks. This particular type of wood lends the rum its characteristic depth and an elegant spiciness. Furthermore, this bottling is entirely natural – it contains neither sugar nor colourings and impresses with its pure, authentic range of flavours.
The New Grove Distillery, one of the most traditional distilleries in Mauritius, combines artisanal expertise with the island’s unique terroir. This 2007 vintage rum was bottled in a limited edition of just 1,988 bottles, making it an exclusive rarity.
