The mezcal from Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto (AGP), produced at the leading distillery in the heart of Oaxaca, is a prime example of artisanal excellence and quality. AGP, known as the largest distillery in the region, has made a name for itself by producing mezcal that delights connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
This mezcal, made from natural agaves, is distilled in traditional stone ovens and then aged in wooden casks. This method gives it a distinctive sweet yet slightly smoky flavour. The exceptional brewing process, which cooks the green agave nectar using steam, is crucial for preserving the authentic agave flavour in its purest form.
