The Sibona GRAPPA RISERVA Botti da SHERRY is a premium Grappa Riserva from Piedmont, with an alcohol content of 44 per cent, in a 0.5-litre bottle, including gift packaging. The long-established Distilleria Sibona uses selected Barbera pomace from freshly harvested grapes, which is carefully selected during the grape harvest itself. Distillation takes place entirely on-site in copper stills under the supervision of experienced oenologists and master distillers. The grappa is then initially aged for an extended period in stainless steel tanks. Its actual wood ageing begins with two years in medium-sized barrels made of classic oak, creating a solid foundation for the subsequent special barrel finishing.

The Sibona Grappa Riserva Botti da Sherry then matures for a further two years in sherry casks imported from Spain, which were previously used for ageing sherry. The total maturation time in wood is therefore around four years. Sibona deliberately applied this form of cask finishing, familiar from the world of whisky, to grappa, thereby developing a particularly distinctive Riserva. The influence of the sherry casks is particularly evident in nutty, dry and cocoa-like notes. The grappa is bottled in the distinctive graduated 0.5-litre Sibona bottle, featuring a level indicator on the side and a pourer, and is presented in an elegant gift tin.
