Book 3 – Source Protector tells the story of his determined efforts to protect the Kilbride Stream, which remains the Laphroaig Distillery’s vital water source to this day. The edition is based on a vintage from 1987 and has been matured for 33 years exclusively in ex-bourbon casks. As it has been matured entirely in bourbon casks, Laphroaig’s unmistakable distillery character remains particularly authentic, emphasising the distillery’s classic style.
