Sibona Grappa XO Aged Cuvée is an exceptionally long-aged premium grappa from Piedmont, with an alcohol content of 44 per cent, available in a 0.5-litre bottle including gift packaging. The designation XO – Extra Old – indicates that this bottling has been aged for well over ten years. For this special cuvée, the long-established Distilleria Sibona selects limited quantities of high-quality, freshly harvested pomace from prestigious grape varieties grown in the Langhe and Roero regions. The pomace used comes from grapes grown for Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and Barbera. Distillation takes place entirely on-site in copper stills, before the grappa is initially aged for an extended period in stainless steel tanks.


The Sibona Grappa XO derives its exceptional character from subsequent ageing for well over ten years in small French oak tonneaux in the distillery’s historic cellars. This long barrel ageing makes it one of the particularly high-quality, matured bottlings in the Sibona range. The Extra Old Grappa Cuvée is presented in the distinctive, elegant and graduated 0.5-litre Sibona bottle, featuring a level indicator on the side and a pourer, as well as a high-quality gift tin. The combination of selected Piedmontese grape varieties, in-house distillation and over ten years’ ageing in French oak underlines the premium quality of this grappa, which has won numerous international awards.
