Sibona La Grappa di BARBERA is a single-varietal grappa from Piedmont, with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, available in a 0.5-litre bottle. The producer’s official designation is Grappa Piemontese di Barbera. The long-established Distilleria Sibona uses exclusively Barbera pomace from freshly harvested grapes, which are carefully selected during the grape harvest. Distillation takes place entirely on-site in copper stills under the supervision of Sibona’s experienced oenologists and master distillers. After distillation, the grappa is aged for an extended period in stainless steel tanks before undergoing further maturation in oak casks.


With Sibona Grappa di Barbera, this Piedmontese distillery is specifically dedicated to one of the most traditional red grape varieties of its homeland. The selected Barbera pomace and the combination of extended ageing in stainless steel followed by maturation in oak casks ensure a robust character that is typical of the variety. The grappa is bottled in the distinctive, elegant and graduated Sibona bottle, featuring a level indicator on the side and a practical pourer. The 0.5-litre bottle thus combines traditional Piedmontese grappa production with a clear focus on the Barbera grape variety.
