The Whyte & Mackay Special is a carefully composed blend consisting of various single malts. These malts first undergo an additional maturation period in order to fully develop their flavours.

The blend is then supplemented by the addition of selected grain whiskies, which are also left to mature for a few months. This process gives the Whyte & Mackay Special an exceptional depth and complexity of flavour, characterised by a harmonious balance between the rich malts and the soft, round notes of the grain whiskies.
