Tullibardine 228 Burgundy is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Tullibardine distillery in the Scottish village of Blackford in Perthshire. The distillery was founded in 1949 on the site of a former brewery and has been producing whisky ever since. In 2003, the distillery was saved from closure when a team of independent investors led by former investment banker Michael Beamish took it over. Since then, the Tullibardine distillery has grown in success and won many awards for its whiskies.

This Tullibardine 228 Burgundy has been matured for twelve months in Red Burgundy casks from Château de Chassagne Montrachet, which have a capacity of 228 litres. This special maturation gives the whisky its impressive ruby red colour. During maturation in these casks, the whisky develops additional depth and complexity, resulting in a rich and multi-layered flavour profile.
