Matsui Gin THE HAKUTO Premium is a Japanese gin creation from the traditional Kurayoshi Distillery, which is known for its exceptional distillation processes and the use of first-class, natural ingredients. With a strong alcohol content of 47% vol., this premium gin combines the purity of Japanese craftsmanship with a unique selection of carefully selected botanicals that give it an unmistakable depth and complexity.

Its name, Hakuto, is inspired by an old Japanese legend about a white hare and symbolises purity, elegance and sophistication. It is distilled using high-quality spring water from the Tottori Berger, which is prised for its particular softness and clarity. The perfectly balanced combination of classic gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander and citrus peel is complemented by typical Japanese ingredients such as sakura blossom, green tea, yuzu and sansho pepper. The result is a gin with an exceptional balance between floral, fresh and spicy-spicy flavours.
