Cihuatán 12 Years CINABRIO Rum El Salvador 40% vol. 0.7 l + gift box is a premium rum from the Destilería Cihuatán, El Salvador’s only rum distillery. This distillery combines traditional craftsmanship with the country’s rich cultural history, infusing its products with the mysticism of the Maya. The name ‘Cinabrio’ refers to the mineral cinnabar, which in Mayan culture was regarded as a symbol of the sun and stood for energy and life. It is precisely this philosophy that is reflected in the rum’s intense aroma and its warm, deep colour.


The Cihuatán 12-Year-Old Rum is aged for at least twelve years in selected ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak. This lengthy ageing process gives it a complex structure with a harmonious balance of sweet, spicy and woody notes. At 40% ABV, it is powerful yet pleasantly smooth, making it an excellent choice for both connoisseurs and those new to premium rum.
