Wemyss Malts THE HIVE Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 2020 46% is an artisanally crafted blended malt Scotch whisky that showcases the sweeter, fruitier style of Speyside. For The Hive, Wemyss Malts works with selected malt whiskies from various Scottish distilleries, blending them in small batches to create a harmonious whole. A defining characteristic is its distinctly honey-driven profile, accompanied by floral notes, ripe fruit and subtle spice. The name ‘The Hive’ deliberately echoes this sweet, blossom-honey-like character and represents an accessible yet complex blend with a distinct malt structure.

With an alcohol content of 46 per cent, Wemyss The Hive has sufficient strength to clearly showcase its floral, citrus and spicy components. Particularly distinctive are notes of blossom honey, orange, ginger, grapefruit and clove, which lend the whisky freshness and depth. The whisky is bottled without chill filtration, ensuring that as much of its original texture and aroma as possible is preserved. The 0.7-litre bottle, presented in a gift box, also makes this blended malt Scotch whisky from Scotland an attractive gift idea. Anyone looking for a fruity, sweet Scotch with a honeyed character and lively citrus spice will find The Hive to be a well-balanced and versatile bottling.
