The Kiss Detroit Rock Premium Dark Rum was created in co-operation with the rock giants KISS and the Swedish company Brands For Fans. It was named after the song "Detroit Rock City", which was released in 1974.
It begins with a newsreader reading out a report about a road accident. The song ends with screeching tyres and a collision, which suggests a traffic accident.
The song was inspired by a true event that happened in 1975. A fan was on his way to a Kiss concert when he was involved in a car accident and died.
It is a blend of rums from the Dominican Republic that are aged between 8 and 15 years.
