Bacoo 4 Years Old Rum is a premium Caribbean rum from the Dominican Republic, characterised by its balanced maturity, natural sweetness and approachable profile. The name ‘Bacoo’ originates from Caribbean folklore and describes a mystical spirit in a bottle – a symbol of the secrets and legends of the Caribbean, which are also reflected in the character of this rum. It is produced from fermented sugar cane juice rather than molasses, which gives it a particularly clear, fresh flavour profile.

The rum is aged for at least four years in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, where it develops its golden colour and smooth flavour profile. The ageing takes place under tropical conditions in the Dominican Republic, allowing the rum to interact particularly intensely with the wood and thus acquire a pleasant depth as well as subtle notes of vanilla and caramel. Bacoo Rum is bottled at 40% ABV in a strikingly designed 0.7-litre bottle that visually emphasises its origin and character.
