David Nicholson Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is a full-bodied yet well-balanced premium bourbon from Bardstown, Kentucky, produced by the renowned Lux Row Distillers. This bottling stands out thanks to its special high-rye mash bill, which, in contrast to the classic ‘wheated’ version of David Nicholson 1843, develops a spicier, more intense flavour profile. With an alcohol content of 50 % vol. (100 proof), this bourbon impresses with a deep, complex structure and a pleasantly spicy finish.
It is matured in hand-selected American white oak casks, which impart intense notes of vanilla, toasted caramel and spicy oak to the whisky. The combination of a high rye content and the traditional distillation method ensures a perfect balance between sweetness and spice.
