The West Cork Sherry Cask Finished is a characterful Irish single malt whisky, produced at the independent West Cork Distillery in the county of the same name on the south coast of Ireland. This bottling is made exclusively from triple-distilled single malt, which is initially matured in first-fill American white oak bourbon casks. The whisky is then given an additional finish in selected Oloroso sherry casks, allowing it to develop pronounced fruity and spicy notes – a successful blend of Irish lightness and Spanish cask character.
