Auchentoshan DARK OAK Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an expressive Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, 43 per cent ABV, in a 1-litre bottle, complete with a high-quality gift box. Produced at the historic Auchentoshan Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands, this bottling benefits from the distillery’s signature triple distillation process, which gives the whisky an exceptionally smooth and silky texture. Following distillation, the Auchentoshan DARK OAK is first matured in American bourbon casks and then finished in selected Oloroso sherry casks. This combination results in a complex and balanced character, in which the fruity and spicy influences of the sherry casks harmonise perfectly with the sweet vanilla notes of the bourbon casks.

Auchentoshan DARK OAK combines the typically elegant Lowland style with a more pronounced cask influence than many of the distillery’s other bottlings. Maturation in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks lends the whisky additional depth without compromising its smooth texture. This makes this single malt Scotch whisky ideal both for lovers of classic Lowland whiskies and for connoisseurs seeking a smooth yet complex whisky with a pronounced sherry influence.
