The art of bourbon-making began as early as 1812 on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a nationally recognised historic landmark. When you visit, you can really sense its rich historical heritage. The history of bourbon is closely intertwined with the history of Kentucky and, by extension, that of the United States.

The water used to produce Woodford Reserve is sourced directly from the distillery. It undergoes natural filtration through the property’s limestone deposits. This iron-free, mineral-rich water is a crucial factor in the production process, contributing significantly to the quality and uniqueness of the bourbon.

Woodford Reserve Wheat Whisky is a variant closely linked to the main Woodford Reserve Bourbon brand. This whisky is made from a blend of 52 per cent wheat, 20 per cent malt, 20 per cent maize and 8 per cent rye. It was created by the experienced master distiller Chris Morris. Each bottle of this premium whisky is individually numbered and bears Chris Morris’s signature, confirming its authenticity and quality.
