Togouchi Premium Japanese Blended Whisky 40% vol. 0.7 l is an elegant Japanese blended whisky from Hiroshima Prefecture, combining traditional whisky-making with an exceptional maturing method. It is produced by the Sakurao Distillery, whose origins date back to the company Chugoku Jozo, founded in 1918. For Togouchi Premium, Japanese malt and grain whiskies are carefully blended, with malt whisky accounting for around 10 per cent of the mix. Maturation takes place in selected oak casks, including one housed in a former railway tunnel in the Hiroshima region. There, constant temperatures and consistent humidity ensure exceptional storage conditions. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, this Japanese blended whisky is presented in a stylish gift box with two matching whisky glasses.

What makes Togouchi Premium Japanese Whisky so special is the combination of Japanese distilling expertise and the unusual cask maturation in the former Togouchi railway tunnel. The Sakurao Distillery combines its many years of experience in producing traditional Japanese spirits with modern whisky production methods. Togouchi Premium is distilled, matured and blended entirely in Japan and complies with the applicable Japanese standards for Japanese whisky. The careful combination of the various whisky components ensures a balanced character that reflects the distillery’s signature style. Presented as a Togouchi Whisky gift set with two glasses, this bottling is particularly suitable for lovers of Japanese whiskies and makes a stylish gift for special occasions.
