For a long time, Pimms was considered a quirky drink because it was drunk in a silver mug or a small jug and decorated with cucumber and apple slices. The jugs are no longer made, but the gherkin remains. Pimms is a slightly spicy gin-based liqueur that is always drunk mixed. Hardly alcoholic, as the liqueur is only 25 % and is still mixed. A refreshing, friendly drink and very drinkable. Werder is still drunk in England at rowing regattas or at Wimbledon. It was there that the idea of dipping strawberries in Pimms liqueur was born.
