Rum Nation Guatemala XO 20th Anniversary Edition 40% vol. 0.7 l + GB is an exclusive anniversary release launched to mark Rum Nation’s 20th anniversary, which impressively reflects the independent bottler’s philosophy. Only the finest casks of a rare and particularly expressive rum from Guatemala were selected for this limited-edition Guatemala XO rum. It is produced from sugar cane molasses using a modern column still distillation process, which ensures an elegant and clearly structured style.


Maturation begins for at least four years in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, under tropical conditions near the River Hondo, allowing the rum to develop its harmonious foundation. This is followed by a 16-month secondary ageing in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks in Italy, where the cooler climate allows for a slow and controlled refinement. This two-stage ageing process lends this premium rum from Guatemala additional depth and complexity. Bottled in an elegant decanter and presented in a high-quality gift box (GB), this limited edition underlines its status as a special collector’s bottling with an international ageing concept.
