Description
Balblair, the oldest distillery in the northern Highlands of Scotland, dating back to 1790, is situated on a secluded hillside overlooking the Dornoch Firth. This historic distillery stands on an ancient Pictish gathering place, guarded by the mystical Clach Biorach stone, whose Z-shaped markings adorn every bottle of Balblair. Balblair whiskies are crafted from the finest barley from the Black Isle and pure water, perfectly capturing the flavours of the region.
This Balblair 15 Years Old Single Malt was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, before being further refined by the rich influence of first-fill casks made from Spanish oak. The whisky boasts a natural colour and is non-chill-filtered, preserving its authenticity and multi-layered complexity.
